Briefing of 33rd Ordinary Summit of the African Union

On the results of the 33rd Ordinary Summit of the African Union held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from February 9 to 10, 2020, His Excellency Michael Moussa- Adamo — Deputy Dean of the African Ambassadors group — and their Excellencies the Ambassadors or Representatives of all African African Embassies accredited to the U.S assisted to a briefing session by Mr. Mourad Ben Dhiab, Secretary General of the African Union Commission, on March 5, 2020 at the Africa House. The meeting outlined the priorities addressed during the summit to bolster the progress being made in driving Africa’s growth trajectory within the framework of Agenda 2063. The 2020 theme of the year was held under “Silencing the Guns: Creating Conducive Conditions for Africa’s Development”.
